the ceiling, glory of paradise, painted francesco maria russo in 1749. original floor (most of present 1 dates 1901) in black , white (said symbolize good/evil) in design of labyrinth (a masonic symbol initiation ).
in basement there painting roman artist giuseppe pesce, madonna con bambino, dating around 1750. painted using wax-based paints of raimondo di sangro s own invention. prince presented painting friend charles bourbon, king of naples.
