the series started on 7 september 2014 launch show, followed live shows starting on 26 , 27 september. series first not presented sir bruce forsyth after announcing departure live shows on 4 april (he made final regular appearance in series launch show). however, forsyth continue present special editions of show, such children in need , christmas specials. announced on 9 may claudia winkleman join main show co-presenter , duties mirror existing result show format, tess daly taking on forsyth s role main presenter , winkleman taking daly s role co-presenter.
