the twingo iii 10 mm shorter twingo ii. rear engine layout improves manoeuvrability , cabin space, reduced boot capacity. suspension composed macpherson struts on front axle , de dion tube on rear. car uses five-door architecture, differs three-door predecessors.


brakes ventilated disks on front , drums on rear, except in base model (sce 70) uses drum brakes round. bonnet features special opening mechanism , allows partial opening give access windscreen washer fluid, brake fluid , coolant reservoirs, , battery.


equipment

the car had 4 trim levels: expression, play, dynamique , dynamique s various packs customisation. between optionals allows use smartphone instrument panel (r&go) , has infotainment system (r-link). other levels such livelier energy have since been added. sporty gt model first arrived in november 2016.


safety

as standard, car incorporates tyre pressure sensors, seatbelts reminders, 4 airbags , 4 head , chest side airbags. achieved 4 star euro ncap test rating in 2014.




engines

the car came 2 three-cylinder petrol engines. 0.9 litre turbocharged unit , 1-litre atmospheric. both fitted low , in 49 degree angle increase boot s capacity. in november 2016 more powerful version of petrol engine, tce 110, arrived sporting twingo gt model.
