in 1994, converse shoe company licensed rights use coffee man 15-second commercial spot, first airing during saturday night live episode. character has been used in advertising hewlett-packard. marvel comics , cable television network comedy central developing potential animated series or special production company nelvana in 2000 , 2001. however, project abandoned after both wheeler , comedy central agreed script lacked quality.
