a light rail/subway system planned tel aviv metropolitan area. red line of project expected operation in 2021 , pass through south-central tel aviv , jaffa. second line, green line, pass through heart of tel aviv.


the red line starts @ petah tikva s central bus station, east of tel aviv , follows jabotinsky road (route 481) westwards @ street level. @ point jabotinsky road , highway 4 intersect line drops underground tunnel 10 km (6.21 mi) through bnei brak, ramat gan , tel aviv , emerges again street level before jaffa, turns southwards towards bat yam.
