based @ st. anthony’s central, terra 1 capable of moving patients while maintaining highest levels of care. examples of patients transported include cardiac patients receiving vasoactive, anticoagulant, or fibrinolytic infusions, mechanically ventilated patients, patients undergoing iabp therapy, or patient needs continuous icu level care en route.


terra two, cct ambulance based @ summit medical center in frisco, , in service when lifeguard 2 grounded weather, , @ night. provides mountain communities round clock access critical care transport, regardless of weather conditions. terra 2 operated in partnership summit county ambulance, provides emt , paramedic assist patient care.


the newborn/young child team travels via own dedicated cct ambulance, (terra three), , fixed-wing aircraft, , helicopter, twenty-four hours day. when circumstances demand, helicopter may used transport newborn/young child team referring facility attend pending delivery or provide emergency assistance, while ground ambulance proceeds toward location trip back. neonate may safely transported aboard helicopter in specially equipped isolette.


in circumstances, several transport resources may needed transport patient appropriate destination. weather conditions may prevent helicopter reaching scene or referring facility, or mass casualty incident may tax other resources. in these situations, flight crews whatever appropriate safely accomplish transport.
