the queen mary boat club accepts experienced , novice rowers improve fitness , technique. represent queen mary @ rowing events, offering opportunities rowers compete locally , nationally. student crews race in eights, fours/quads, doubles/pairs , singles. alumni of university eligible row drapers rowing club. annually, students compete against drapers invitational crew in drapers challenge cup.


qmulbc compete @ national events including head of river fours, head of river race, women s eights head of river race, metropolitan regatta, henley women s regatta , henley royal regatta. club compete regularly @ british university , college sport (bucs) events.


previous college rowers include olympians richard budgett, martin cross, , mike hennessy , paralympian martyna snopek.
