tecolote canyon natural park - tecolote canyon runs through community of clairemont mesa , dedicated city of san diego tecolote canyon natural park in 1977. park 903 acres , approximately 6 miles long. there multiple entrances park throughout community; of these entrances provide public parking , bathroom facilities.


marian bear memorial park - known san clemente canyon, officially renamed marian bear memorial park city of san diego in 1960. marian park 467 acres , runs parallel south side of 52 freeway. main entrances park off of regents road , genesee avenue. both of these entrances provide public parking, restrooms , picnic benches.



krause family skate/bike park


tecolote golf course - 18-hole 3,161-yard golf course located within tecolote canyon. natural creek-bed runs through golf course, designed robert trent jones, sr. , sam snead.


ymca s krause family skate & bike park - destination park affiliated mission valley ymca located in san diego community of clairemont mesa @ 3401 clairemont drive, san diego, ca 92117. skateboards, bikes, scooters, , inline skates allowed. large facility includes beginner, intermediate , advanced skate , bmx courses, street area, mini ramps, concrete pool, , former dew tour vert ramp. in addition, park houses world s first , skatercross track, completed in 2016. park open visitors paid daily or monthly passes. of summer 2017, park undergoing renovations; old ramps being torn down , replaced in anticipation of 2017 clash @ clairemont, event sponsored professional skater andy macdonald.
