strictly come dancing returned thirteenth series launch show on 5 september 2015, followed live shows starting on 25 , 26 september.


on 23 april 2015, list of professionals participating in thirteenth series revealed. professionals last series did not return included trent whiddon, iveta lukosiute , joanne clifton. clifton remain involved in group dances , feature on strictly come dancing: takes 2 dance expert. robin windsor, absent previous series because of injury, did not return series. 3 new professional dancers introduced: russian dancer gleb savchenko (from american, australian, , russian versions of dancing stars), south african dancer oti mabuse (from germany s let s dance) , italian dancer giovanni pernice.


on 3 october 2015, judges performed strictly, signature dance made of iconic moves show s history fans @ home when hear theme tune; subsequently, tutorial dance made available on show s website , iplayer hosted natalie lowe , tristan macmanus. ola jordan later announced had quit show , claimed results fixed .


series 13 last feature tristan macmanus, kristina rihanoff, ola jordan , gleb savchenko professional dancers. aliona vilani announced 3 days after winning leaving show, however, did 2016 live tour. savchenko announced leaving show on 28 june 2016. series 14, katya jones, gorka márquez, oksana platero, , joanne clifton replaced them.
