later day, bugs climbs long staircase (“the alps have got nothing on these stairs climbing.”). sam awaiting him @ top, posing statue in armor. when bugs gets close enough, sam takes swing @ head double-bladed axe, bugs ducks , falls down stairs. sam descends while ranting, raving , cursing way down, bugs continuously writes out deductions.

the following day, sam gets control of temper. shows bugs having servants physically mock him pie in face, kick in rear , conk on head rolling pin. sam goes through repeatedly, bugs looks @ camera , says: “i haven’t got heart tell him he’s used money” cartoon fades in.
