the town welcomes tourists numerous marinas, seafood restaurants, gift shops, boardwalk, sculpture garden, calvert marine museum visitors can climb atop former lighthouse, harbor cruises, , occasional famous performer concerts outdoors. solomons has 3 major hotels, u.s. navy family recreation center, , church retirement home. st. peter s chapel historic 1889 carpenter gothic-style church still in use.
