at time of brinley s death, many obituaries noted decorative maps created liberty memorial, in kansas city, missouri. these maps, painted in 1926, continue permanent exhibit in memory hall of national world war museum, part of memorial site. brinley created mural brooklyn savings bank, awarded gold medal of honor of architectural league of new york. finally, created great terrestrial globe sat in lobby of daily news building in new york city.
