a purported sequel in development 2015 release, , called s wonderful life: rest of story. written bob farnsworth , martha bolton , follow angel of george bailey s daughter zuzu (played once again karolyn grimes), teaches bailey s evil grandson how different world have been if had never been born. producers considering directors , hoped shoot film $25–$35 million budget in louisiana in 2014.


the film had been announced being produced star partners , hummingbird productions, neither of affiliated paramount, owners of original film (farnsworth claimed s wonderful life in public domain). later, paramount spokesperson claimed not granting permission make film, date, these individuals have not obtained of necessary rights, , take appropriate steps protect rights, spokesperson said. no further developmental plans have since arisen.
