history

team founded in 1957 kolhospnyk (collective farm worker).the team debuted in 1958 season in class b third zone , placed 14th of 16 teams participated.in team played 13 seasons in class b. best results came in 1968 , 1969 seasons team placed 7th. in 1966, changed name horyn after river flows in volhynia.


after reorganization of championship of ussr in 1971 horyn started playing second league of ukrainian zone , played there until fall of soviet union. in 1972, club became part of ukrainian avanhard voluntary sports society , changed name avanhard. in first season in second league of ukrainian zone avanhard placed 26th. starting in late 1970s avangard started progressing , in 1981 under management of 2 famous dynamo kyiv players viktor matvienko , volodymyr troshkin avanhard got 3rd place. 9 years later under management of viktor pokora avanhard placed 3rd again.


during fall of soviet union changed name again veres (heather) , placed in ukrainian first league. in same season veres placed first , promoted vyshcha liha. in first season in vyshcha liha veres placed last wasn t relegated because league expanded. next season successful season in clubs history team 4th after end of first have of season beating teams fc dnipro, fc metalist, fc shakhtar , knocking fc dynamo kyiv out of ukrainian cup , reaching semi final. after start of second half veres manage finish 12th. after veres started downfall , in 1994–95 season relegated. after 2 season in ukrainian first league veres got relegated ukrainian second league , stayed there until bankruptcy in 2011.

in 2015, reinstated of chairman of regional football federation. first club in ukraine have club membership , of may 21 has on 3,500 members. in 2015–16 ukrainian second league season veres finished in second place , promoted ukrainian first league. after end of 2015–16 ukrainian second league season club reorganized , fc veres-rivne llc founded public union rivne football club veres rivne , lvivskyi kholodokombinat pat letter becoming majority holder 61% stake. company founded manage club. lvivskyi kholodikombinat pat cover budget costs approximately 15 million hryvnia 2016–17 ukrainian first league season. goal season set achieve promotion ukrainian premier league


in 2017 veres overtaken lviv businessman borys kopytko supposedly has ties criminal world , known under nickname kopyto . kopytko owns lviv refrigerating company limo , became honorary president of nk veres rivne.
